As a cultural building in the 21st century, the Bauhaus- Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung should be a dynamic public space, one used not only for exhibiting, but also teaching and learning. It should provide a rewarding experience for international visitors, local residents, and professionals alike. The design should be both contemporary and functional, serving as an ideal for exhibiting and archiving the Bauhaus collection.
