Local adjustments include the horizontal re-organisation of entrances, lobbies and foyers and the vertical connections between spaces. Shops and bars are being shifted and a coordinated signage strategy introduced.

The facade treatment consists of a series of polished stainless steel fins that are integrated into the existing curtain walling system of the Western wall that faces the sea. This intervention provides shading from direct sunlight, while redirecting natural daylight and views of the Welsh landscape into the Foyer. The fins receive a spectrally selective coating to cancel out heat radiation.
