Céline Cheongdam shortlisted for Fritz Höger Award 2020
The Céline Cheongdam flagship building in Seoul has been shortlisted for the Fritz Höger Award 2020 for Brick Architecture.
The 7-storey mixed use building has a stepped massing that is unified through a simple brick envelope. The brick is laid in a complex bond using different lengths and opening types. It is a long format clay unit produced by a small artisan company based in Italy specifically for this project.
